Yesterday was our first section hockey game, and this game was a play-in game where in order to be apart of the sections you need to win that play-in game. But last night we played Sibley High School and we weren't ready to play right off the start. We were down one to zero in the first two minutes of the game. Our coach was very upset that we were down a goal right away and we had to get that goal back fast otherwise we might not be playing hockey anymore. By the end of the first period we had tied it up and in the locker room our coach yelled at us because we shouldn't even be tied with this team right now because they are not even that good. He also yelled at us to get us to wake up and start to play some hockey. At the start of the second period we started to play real hockey, three minutes into the second I scored my first varsity hockey goal to take us into the lead one. From there we scored two more goals in that period. The other team ended up scoring to more goals and then we scored two more goals in the third period. Seeing how we won our play-in game we get to play against Apple Valley on Thursday. I am really excited to play them because i never really got to play them at all this year because of my injury. Hopefully this wont be our last game on Thursday.
